N 0 .b MSi •' .r ORDINANCE NO. 1750 ;R ' AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1736 IN ITS ENTIRETY AND ENACTING AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOT 4, SOUTH HAVEN SUBDIVISION AND A PORTION OF SECTION 7, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City Commission passed and adopted Ordinance No. 1736 on second and final reading on January 19, 1978, which annexed certain real property into the City of Clearwater; and WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that due to an error by the Clearwater Sun the ordinance was not advertised the proper number of times and therefore should be repealed; and f WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a sworn petition from Richard L. Deighton and Elna J. R.nx-.. •e:/? 1 V M M I : WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a sworn petition from Clifford Hoishmnn and Ethel Heishman, his wife, and Ocorge A, Hunt, Jr. and Cecile Hunt, his wife, requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate described hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on October 6, 1977, voted unanimouely to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and estl 1`. fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, on November 17, 1977, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said real property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Ordinance No. 1736, passed and adopted by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, on January 19, 1978, is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 2.
