WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said n cn
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on January 20, 1977, voted

unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to o =?

WHEREAS, an March 17, 1977, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classification for said
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1668 contained an error in that the Township
referred to was Township 28 South as the same was set forth in Section I of
real property; and
Ordinance No. 1668, and not Township 29 South as was set forth in the title; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to readvertise the o rdinance andre-read f

NOW, THEREFORE, BE-IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISST ON OF THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER, 'FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
,
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chap ter 171, 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to
include the following described parcel of real property in Pinellas County,
Florida, and establishes fire district classification therefor; .

20, Township 28 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,

the SE corner of said Section 20 for a P. O. B. and run thence
S 89 04514211 W, along the Sciuth boundary of said Section 20,
1, 333.41 feet to the 40 acre line; thence N 00°02128" E, along
said 40 acre line, 334.98 feet; thence N 89°471511' E, 1, 333.72
feet to the East line of said Section 20• thence S 00°0514211 W,
along said East line of Section 20, 334. 15 feet to the P. O. B.
The above described property is hereby designated Fire District
No. 2.
Section 2. Petitioner, as part of this annexation and in furtherance

law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
tights-of'-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.

its passage and enrollrrsent in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of

171.044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.
