BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Article I, Refuse Service, of Chapter 10, Garbage, Trash
and Weeds, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
1962, is hereby amended by amending Section 10-3. 2, Prerequisites to
issuance, to add two new subparagraphs (4) and (5) to read as follows:
Section 10-•3. 2 Prerequisites to issuance.
(4) The applicant has agreed to make all books and records
applicable to business conducted under the permit required
by Section 10-3 available to the City of Clearwater or its
designee for inspection and audit.
(5) The applicant has provided a copy of a certificate of insurance
demonstrating that the applicant's employees performing
work pursuant to the permit are covered by Workman's
Compensation Insurance.—
Section 2. Article I, Refuse Service, of Chapter 10, Garbage, Trash
and Weeds, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
1962, is hereby amended by amending Section 10-3.4, Liability insurance,
to read as follows:
Section 10-3.4 Liability insurance.
The holder of a permit issued under this article shall maintain
in effect at all times public liability insurance in the minimum

Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Any person, organization, society, association or
corporation, or any agent or representative thereof, who shall violate the
provisions of this ordinance shall be subject, upon conviction, to a fine not
exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or imprisonment for
not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the
discretion of the Judge.
Section S. • Should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance be declared for any reason to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
