AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF
-- -- THE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1977, AS
AMENDED, BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR
REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES

PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, on February 3, 1977, the City Commission of the City of ;.« ..r;'p:?. y Y," °•"
Clearwater, after proper public notice held a public hearing on certain

proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established, and certain items were continued until
February 17, 1977, and thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, on February 17, 1977, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of
all evidence presented at the said public hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ?.•,
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: , • *'
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning Atlas
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 197711, as amended, is amended to
indicate that fact as hereinafter set out;
Zoned as RS-60 - Sinjzle Familv Residential District
Begin 415. 89 feet North and 40 feet West of Southeast corner
of SW 1/4 of Section 9, Township 29 South, Range 16 East;
thence N 60°26'26" W, 330 feet; thence North 17°4415711 W,
210 feet; West 865 feet M. O. L. ; South 630 feet; East 1250
feet and North 380 feet to P. O. B.

110 feet; thence North 31°24'06" West 105.92 feet; West
238. 92 feet; South 200 feet; East 294.77 feet to P. O. B.
Zoned as AL - Aquatic Lands District
Begin 355. 15 feet North and 498. 09 feet West of the center of
Section 5, Township 29 South, Range 16 East for a P. O. B. ;
continue West 217.8 feet; North 200 feet; East 217.8 feet;
South 200 feet to P. O. B.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or imprisoned in Jail for not
exceeding sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion
of the Judge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has been
properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with
Chapter 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.
