BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section ZZ..1Z5, How Meter and Space to be Used; Manner of Parking, of Division Z, Parking Meters, of Chapter ZZ, Traffic, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended to read as follows: 3 td. Section 22-IZ5. How meter and space to be used; manner of parking. When any vehicle shall be parked in any space alongside of or next to which there is located, under this division, a parking meter, the owner, operator, manager, or driver of such vehicle shall upon entering the parking space immediately deposit the proper coin or coins of the United States in the parking meter alongside of or next to the parking space and the parking space may then be used by such vehicle during the parking limit provided by ordinance, resolution and police regulation of the city for the part of the street in which such parking space is located. Any vehicle parked in any parking space in any parking meter ' zone shall be parked with the front end of such vehicle alongside of or next to the parking meter alongside of such parking space in parallel parking spaces, and with the front of the vehicle directed at the meter in angle or perpendicular parking spaces, and, in either event, shall be parked within the lines marked on the street for such parking space as provided hereafter. The city manager, or such officers or employees of the city as he shall select, shall place lines or marks on the curb or on the street about or alongside of each parking meter to designate the parking space for which such meter is to be used and each vehicle parked alongside of or next to any parking meter shall park within the lines or markings so established.
