PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on July Z1, 1975, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established, which hearing was continued until November
20, 1975, and'thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, on April 15,' 1976, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
, zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all
evidence presented at the said public hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning Atlas
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 197611, as amended, is amended to
indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as ISP - Institutional Semi.Public District
Lots 5 through 11, inclusive, Block 171, Mandalay Replat,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
20, page 57 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
LESS that part of Lot 5 as described in Deed Book 962, page 232,
of the said Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.

Area No. 7: Waters lying in Clearwater Harbor between
the North Clearwater City Limit line and the Memorial
Causeway adjacent to the Mainland in Sections 3, 4, 9
and 16, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, and the waters
of Clearwater Harbor adjacent to Memorial Causeway in
Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, and the
waters of Stevenson Creek from Clearwater Harbor to
North Betty Land including tributary to Overbrook Road
in Sections 3 and 10, Township 29 South, Range 15 East,
Pinellas County, Florida.
Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or imprisoned in Jail for not
exceeding sixty (60) days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the
discretion of the Judge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out and
show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.
