THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1975, AS
AMENDED, BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN
PROPERTY AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; BY PROVIDING '
FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES

Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established, which public hearing was continued until
April 7, 1975, and thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of
all evidence presented at the said public hearing and continuation thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning Atlas
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 197511, as amended, is amended to indicate
that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as CP - Parkwa Business District
1. Begin on the North-South centerline of Section 16, Township
29 South, Range 16 East, 250 feet North of the centerline
of State Road 60; thence run Northerly along said North-South
centerline and the East right-of-way line of Bayshore Blvd.
to a point lying Southerly of the mean high tide line of Cooper's
Bayou; thence run Easterly along a line Southerly of and
parallel to said mean high tide line to its intersection with
a line lying 463 feet East of and parallel to said North-South
centerline of Section 16; thence run Southerly along said line
lying 463 feet East of and parallel to said North-South center-
line to a point 250 feet North of the centerline of State Road
60; thence run Westerly along said line 250 feet North of and
parallel to said centerline of State Road 60, 463 feet more
or less to the P. O. B.; Less those areas previously zoned
AL (Aquatic Lands).

2. Begin 463 feet East of the North-South centerline of Section
16, Township Z9 South, Mange 16 East and 250 feet North
of the centerline of State Road 60, and run North along said
line 463 feet East of and parallel to said North-South center-
line to a point lying Southerly of the mean high tide line of
Cooper's Bayou; thence run Easterly, Southerly and Westerly
along said `mean high tide line to the P. O. B. ; Less those areas
previously zoned AL (Aquatic Lands).
3. That parcel of land in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 16,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East lying Southerly of the mean
high tide line and Northerly of the following described line:
Start at the Southwest corner of the NE 1/4 of Section 16,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, also being centerline
of S. R. 60; thence run East along centerline of said S. R.
60, 700 feet; thence run North 200 feet to the North right-
of-way line of said S. R. 60 for the Point of Beginning; thence
run 500 feet East along said North right-of-way line to the
Point of Ending; Less those areas previously zoned AL
(Aquatic Lands).
Zoned as RS-100 - Single Family Residential District
All those parcels of land lying landward of the mean high tide
line in Sections 10 and 15, in Township 29 South, Range 16
East and those parcels in Sections 9 and 16, Township 29 South,
Range 16 East lying landward of mean high tide line, lying
East of East right-of-way line of Bayshore Blvd., and not
including tracts previously described in this ordinance, and
not including lands previously zoned AL (Aquatic Lands), and
not including lands platted as Del Oro Groves Subdivision and
recorded in Plat Book 12, page 2 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida.
Zoned as ISP - Institutional Semi-Public District
That parcel of land lying landward of the mean high tide
mark in the following described tract, to wit: Begin at the
Northeast corner of Government Lot 4 in NE 1/4 of Section 16,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East and run Southerly 558. 44
feet; thence run Westerly 300 feet; thence South 40°29' West
453. 31 feet; thence run South 82°381 West 302. 52 feet; thence
run Northerly 1654. ZO feet; thence run Easterly 900 feet to
East line of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 16, Town-
ship 29 South, Range 16 East; thence run Southerly 719. 33 feet
to the P.O. B. ; Less -right-of-way as described in O. R. Book
1936, page 522 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
and that part of Government Lot i in Section 15, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, lying East of Government Lot 4 in Section
16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East and lying landward of mean
high tide mark, Less that part presently zoned ISP and Less
that part zoned AL (Aquatic Lands).
Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same
shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part'thereof
other than the part declared to be invalid.

A
Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or
association of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of
the terms or provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in the
Municipal Court, be fined not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars
($500. 00), or imprisonment in the City Jail for not exceeding sixty (60)
days or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the
Municipal Judge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall
constitute a separate offense.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance
has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set
out and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the
foregoing amendments as hexeinabove set out.
Section 7. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
