AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDI-
TIONS ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF
FLORIDA, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT - '
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF
PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. 1191
'„nF .? WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described herein-
after, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on October 7, 1974, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public -bearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Floridii',
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The East 1/Z of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township
29 S, Range 15 East, lass the South 858. 00 feet, and less
the West 30.00 feet, together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "P" (Public
Land District) and designated Fire District No. 1.'
Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according to

law, accepts the dedication of all casements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning atlas
and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this Ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon `
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDI-
TIONS ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF
u u THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF
FLORIDA. AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF
PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described herein-
after, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on October 7, 1974, voted
unanimously to accept said requec t and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing Thereon for th : determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications ar.d to prepare an ordinance to annex said
pardels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 18, 1974 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public -bearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its city
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:.'
The East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 3, Township
29 S, Range 15 East, less the South 858. 00 feet, and loss
the West 30.00 feet, together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "P1' (Public
Land District) and designated Fire District No. 1.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning atlas
and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this Ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166. 041, Florida St::tutes.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of -Pinellas County, Florida.
