THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Robert F. Becker, as Receiver, requesting
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned
by him, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 18, 1973, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to
annex said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the
Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on August 20, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for
said real property, which public hearing was continued until October
1973 and thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from H. Everett Hougen, Acting City Manager of the
City of Clearwater, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate

described hereinafter, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City
of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on September 17, 1973,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on October 2z, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots "J", ' K", "L", "M", "N", Rolling Heights Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 43, page 1, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "CP" (Parkway
Business District) and designated Fire District No. 1.
AND
Lot 13 and Lot 12 less the East 291.61 feet of the North 189.89
feet of Clearwater Industrial Park, as recorded in Plat Book 44,
page 46, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.

The above-described property is hereby zoned "ML" (Light
Manufacturing District) and designated Fire District No. I.
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.

Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this Ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166.041, Florida Statues.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after duo conuideration of uaid

zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex

in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
-of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida' and
WHEREAS, on October 22, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the ?•
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TI- CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots 1711,• "K", "L11, "M'1, "N", Rolling Heights Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 43, page 1, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned 11CP11 (Parkway
Business District) and designated Fire District No. 1.
AND
Lot 13 and Lot 12 less the East 291.61 feet of the North 189.89
foot of Clearwater Industrial Park, as recorded in Plat Book 44,
pago 46, of the Public Recordu of Pinellas County, F1,3rida,
together with all abutting streets.

The above-described property is hereby zoned "ML" (Light
Manufacturing District) and designated Fire District No. 1.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, placos,
rights-of'-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas ao annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. Notice of the proposed enactment of this Ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance

with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statues.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall'becorne effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
