AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 1, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 15 EAST; LOTS 10, 11, 16 AND 18, UNIT NO. 1,
CRYSTAL HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION; LOT 45, SKYLINE GROVES
AND PORTION OF SECTION 6, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE
16 EAST; LOT 11, DOWNING SUBDIVISION; LOT 62, BEL
KEENE FIRST ADDITION; PORTION OF SECTION 13,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST; AND LOT 19, BLOCK
D. EASTWOOD TERRACE SECOND ADDITION, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING.
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF

TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER. FLORIDA. AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA;
AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THERE-
ON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICA-
TIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID
PROPERTY AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Shell Oil Company requesting the City to
annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 2, 1973, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel Of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on July 16, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
urination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Josephine Novak, a widow, requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by her, '

Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Charles E. Johnson and Mary Jo Johnson, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request
for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 21, 1973, voted unanimously
to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public
