WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also
received a sworn petition from Harold A. Christopher and Annie P. Christopher,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also
received a sworn petition from Jeffrey E. Butler and Nancy M. Butler, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter,
owned, by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also
received sworn petitions from the City of Clearwater requesting the City to annex
certain parcels of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it, into the cor-
porate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said requests
for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April Z, 1973, voted unattimously to
accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set up apublic hearing
thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning and fire district
classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels of real.
estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with
the provisions of Section b (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of

WHEREAS, on May 21. 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, hold a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The South one-half of the Southeast one-quarter of the Southwest
one-quarter of Section 9, Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "RPD" (Residential
Planned Development) and designated Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 16, Block H, and Lots 1 and 2, Block I, Salis Subdivision,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 28,
page 38, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "RS-60" (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 1, Block B, Pine Ridge Subdivision, according to the map or
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 28, page 98, Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, together with right-of-way for Rollen
Road.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "RS-60 (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2,
AND
Lot 5 and South 10 feet of Lot 4, Block J, Oak Acres Addition,
Unit 1; according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 34, page 31, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,

Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 10, Clearwater Industrial Park, according to map or plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 44, page 46, of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above-described property is hereby zoned "P" (Public Land
District) and designated Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 16, Block A, Carlton Terrace Subdivision, according to
the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 41, page 16
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above-described property is hereby zoned ['RS-60[1 (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed, or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning atlas and
other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
