BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: ,
Sectirin 1. Section 15..1, Park and Recreation Board-.Establishment,
composition, compensation, of Chapter 15, Parks and Recreation, of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 15..1. Park and recreation boar d. -Establishment,
composition, compensation.
There is established an advisory board to be known as the
park and recreation board for the city, consisting of nine
members who shall serve without pay. The city manager
shall be an ex officio member of the board.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
P Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
