AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING LOTS 9 AND 10 OF PINELLAS GROVES SUB-
DIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH
?.... ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDI-
TIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF
FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC
HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Imperial Homes Corporation requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by
it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on September 18, 1972,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1972 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property, which hearing was continued until December 18, 1972 and
thereupon completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public. hearings, the City, of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
Ord. #1444., .

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

r. and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcel of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and

Y establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots 9 and 10 in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 12, Township 29
South, Range 15 East, according to the map or plat of
Pinellas Groves Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 3,
page 15, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with abutting streets.

The above-described property is hereby zoned °1RM-2011
f (Medium Density Multi-Family Use District) and designated
Fire District No. 2.
". Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
right-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
a

made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
` Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
t its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
