SECOND ADDITION; AND LOT 5, BLOCK D, BONAIR HILL

PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Southeastern Franchise Corporation requesting
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned
by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Raymond H. Babineau and Karen L.
Babineau, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real
estate described hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on January 2, 1973, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Dennett B. Lewis, Jr. and Paula T. Lewis,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real, estate described

WHEREAS the City Commission after due consideration of said
requests for annexation at a regular meeting held on January 15, 1973,

mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefore.

together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned 'IRS-75" (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.

Lot 5, Block D, Bonair Hill Subdivision, according to map or plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 26, Page 108, Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned 'IRS-50" (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.

Lot 6 and the Westerly one-half of Lot 7, Pleasant Ridge Estates,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 53,
Page 71, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, LESS that

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
