AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1973, AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; BY PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF. ORDINANCES IN CONFLIC'T'
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; BY
PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; BY PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on January 15, 1973, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on a certain
proposed change to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, the said proposed change to the zoning atlas was approved
by the City Commission after its evaluation of all evidence presented at the
public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning
Atlas of the City of Clearwater, Florida, of 1973,'[ as amended, is amended
to indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as PS r Professional Services District
A parcel of land in the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 14,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East, further described as
follows: Start at the SE corner of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4
of the NE 1/4 of Section 14, Township 29 South, Range 15
East, and go N 01° 11' 31" W, along the 40-acre line,
50.04 feet; thence go N 88` 471 06" W, 58.31 feet to the
point of intersection of the West right-of-way line of
Duncan Avenue and the North right-of-way line of Gulf
to Bay Boulevard; thence N 00° 33' 28" W, along the
West right-of-way lime of Duncan Avenue, 280. 00 feet to
the P.O.B. of this description; thence N 88' 47' 0611 W,
395.63 feet; thence'N 000 391 Z5 11 W, 308.52 feet to a
point on the South right-of-sway line of Rainbow Drive;
thence.S 88. 568 0911 E, along the South right-of-way'line
of Rainbow Drive, 396. 14 feet to a point of intersection with
the West right-of-way line of Duncan Avenue; thence
S 00. 33t 281' E, along the West right-of-way line of
Duncan Avenue 309.54 feet to the P. O. B.

Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the saxiia shall not affect
the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Any person or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court,
be fined not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or
imprisonment in the City Jail for not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 5. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official Zoning Atlas of the City of Clearwater the fore-
going amendments as hereinabove set out.
Section 6. The provisions of this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
