AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 18, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
f RANGE 16 EAST; LOT 149 TERRA ALTO ESTATES; AND LOT
4, BLOCK 13, HIGHLAND PINES, SECOND ADDITION, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA; TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUB-
LIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING
THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Alvin G. Clements requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by him, into the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also
received a sworn petition froze Edward Walter Mehr and Dorothy B. 11r, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described
hereinafter, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said re-
quests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 2O, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public bearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d} of the Municipal Charter of the
City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Aage Ledet and Mildred L. Ledet, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described herein-
after, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on December 4, 1972,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 15, 1973 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d), of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and establishes
zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
East Z98 feet M.O.L. of West 3/4 of Northwest 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 18, Township Z9 South, Range 16
East, less North 330 feet thereof, together with abutting
streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RMH!'
(Mobile Home Park) and designated Fire District No. Z.
AND
Lot Fourteen (14), Terra Alto Estates, according to map or
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 45, Page 5, of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with
abutting streets,
The above described property is hereby zoned '!RS-5011
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. Z,

according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
33, Page 57, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "RS-W'
(Single Family Residential District} and designated Fire
District No. 2.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
right-Hof-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning atlas and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater,
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said re-
quests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 20, 1972, voted
