WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

received a sworn petition from Nolan J. Blue requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by him, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, also .
received a sworn petition from Merrett R. Stie:rheim, City Manager of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel
of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from William E. Elliott and Reba D. Elliott,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Perk H. White and Suzanne G. White, 11'114k_ f_o
Me wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,,

his wife, requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting hold on September 18, 1972,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 6, 1972 the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
A part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 12, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East, described as follows: From the Northeast
corner of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section
12, Township Z9 South, Range 15 East, run thence
S 00 061 0011 W, along the 40-acre line 223.0 feet for the
point of beginning; thence continue S 00 061 0011 W, 80. 0
feet; thence N 89° 201 OZ" W, 230.0 feet; thence N 0° 061 0011E,
80. 0 feet; thence S 89° Z01 OZ" E, 230. 0 feet to the point of
beginning, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "ML"
(Light Manufacturing District) and designated Fire District
No. 1.

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and

its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a
