'BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; BY PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; BY
PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; BY PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION

Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain ,

proposed changes to the zoning map of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and

WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to 'a
the zoning map were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation
of all evidence presented at the public bearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning Map ,
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 1972!!, as amended, is amended to indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
1. Zoned as P - Public Land District
From the NE corner of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 24,
Township 29 S., Range 15 E., as a Point of Beginning; run ;
S 0° Obi 48!! W along a 40-acre line, 410. 87 feet; run thence `_4j
N 88° 421 5611 W along the north line of the plat of Imperial ,
Park Unit 5 (see Plat Book 63, page 6, Public Records of

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof, other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Any person or persons, firm or corporation or associ-
ation of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms
or provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Municipal
Court, be fined not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00),
or be imprisoned in the City Jail for not exceeding sixty (60)-days, or by
both such fine and impris onxnent in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 5. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning map of the City of Clearwater the fore-
going. amendments as hereinabove set out.
