BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 13-1, License Required; Contents; General Regulations;

Penalty, of Article 1 of Chapter 13, pertaining to Licenses and Regulations, of - ';
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby
amended by adding a new sub-paragraph (f) to read as follows:
Sec. 13•-1. License required; contents; general regulations; penalty.
f An person who does not maintain a permanent business location
or branch office within the City of Clearwater but who desires
to transact any business or engage in any occupation or profession
hereinafter named within the City, shall register with the City

or other governmental subdivision in which he does maintain a
permanent business location. Such registration shall be accom-
plished prior to the commencement of said business, shall be two k,

subject to a registration fee of Five Dollars ($5.00), and shall
be valid from date of issuance to the next succeeding October lst.
Section 2. Any person, organization, society, association or corpora-
tion, or any agent or representative thereof, who shall violate the provisions
of this Ordinance shall be subject, upon conviction in the Municipal Court, to
a fine not exceeding the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or imprisonment

in the City Jail for not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance be
declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same
shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole, or any part,
thereof other than the part declared to be invalid.
Section 5. The provisions of this Ordinance shall take effect upon
passage.
