WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Nationwide Land Corporation requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned
by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on May 8, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Austin E. Allen and Matilda C. Allen,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Sylvester J. Chaney and Lena Mae
Chaney, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real
estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of

ANNEXING PORTION OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 15 EAST; LOT 1, BLOCK 16, HIGHLAND PINES, THIRD
ADDITION; AND LOTS 16 AND 17, HIGHLAND OAK SUBDIVISION;
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after duo "cons ide ration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting hold on July 10, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the pruper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinande to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper'
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and estab-
lishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
From the SE corner of the NW 1/4 of Section 11, Township 29
South, Range 15 East; run thence N 89° 2113011 W, 667.2 feet;
thence N 0° 1211811 E, 665. 57 feet for a P. O. B. ; thence con-
tinue N 0° 12'18" E, 332.79 feet; thence N 89° 21149" W,
157.43 feet; thence S 0° 13109" W, 332.75 feet; thence
S 89° Z114911 E, 157. 51 feet to the P. O. B. , together with
all abutting streets.
The above-described property is hereby zoned 'IRS-50" (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. 2.

Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according to

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on July 10, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials 'to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter-
urination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at proper
public hearings, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and estab-
lishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The above-described property is hereby zoned "RS-50" (Single
Family Residential District) and designated Fire District No. Z.
