ANNEXING PORTION OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER '`; =y=

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 6, 1972, voted

unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on April 3, 1972, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the deter.
mination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said
real property, which public hearing was continued until May 15, 1972 and _y
thereupon completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and estab-
lishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Being a part of the Southeast One-'quarter of the Northwest One-
quarter of Section 5, Township Z9 South, Range 16 East,
described as follows: From the center of said Section 5,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, run thence North
00 181 1611 East, along the North-South centerline of said
Section 5, 305. 15 feet to the centerline of County Road No.
50, also State Road 588; thence North 89° 341 45" West,
along said centerline of County Road No. 50," 203.32 feet;

Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and a certi-
fied copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court

ORDINANCE NO. I1146 • AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING PORTION OF SECTION 5, '1 OWNS141P 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE:
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATE11, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO IN-
CLUDE SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND T13E LAWS OF FLORIDA, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE
AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING
USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND T14E FIRE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 6, 1972, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
\set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex:
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
