WHEREAS, on May 23, 1972, the City of Clearwater received

Subdivision, Woodmont Park Estates and Woodmont Park Estates First
Addition, Pinellas County, Florida, requesting the annexation of said
subdivisions together with all abutting streets, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, on June 14, 1972, the City Commission of the City ?
of Clearwater passed and adopted Ordinance 1389 declaring the intent of
the City of Clearwater to annex said properties into the corporate limits of
the City of Clearwater by Referendum Election to be held in said area as
described according to the provisions of the Charter of the City of Clearwater;
and
WHEREAS, said Election was scheduled and held on July 25, 1972
and the results of said Election were canvassed on July 26, 1972 and were
officially certified on said date; and
WHEREAS, the results of said election were a total of 159 affirma- n`J=
Live votes for said annexation and a total of 144 votes opposing said ; Nr
annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 'j

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning `

Section 4. The zoning and fire district classifications for said
property shall be determined by the City Commission after the holding of
a public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of
Clearwater on August 22, 1972 and a public hearing before the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater on September 5, 1972.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon i'
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and at
a certified copy thereof being recorded in the, Office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
