AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER& FLORIDAo 19721 AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; 13Y PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PAR'I'S OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLIC'T'; BY
PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; BY PROVIDING PENAL'T'IES FOR THE VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFF'ECT'IVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on May 8, 1972, on May 22, 1972 and on June 5, 1972,
the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notices,
held public hearings on certain proposed changes to the zoning map of the
City of Clearwater in accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amendments to
the zoning map were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation
of all evidence presented at the public hearings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated and "The Zoning Map
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 197211, as amended, is amended to
indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:

1. Zoned as RPD - Residential Planned Development
That part of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4; AND that part of the E1/2
of the SW 1/4; AND that part of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4; lying
South of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad Right-of-Way all lying
and being in Section 8, Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
Pinellas County, Florida; LESS: The South 50 feet of the SE 1/4
of the SW 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29 South, Range 16 East;

Section 4. Any person or persons, firm or corporation or associ-
ation of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms
or provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Municipal Court,
be fined not exceeding the, sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00),, or
imprisonment in the City Jail for not exceeding sixty (60) days, or by both
such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Section 5. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning map of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
