ORDINANCE NO. 1389
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX WOODMONT PARK
SUBDIVISION, WOODMONT PARK ESTATES, WOODMONT
PARK ESTATES FIRST ADDITION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA' BY REFERENDUM ELECTION
TO BE HELD IN SAID AREA AS DESCRIBED ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
DATE OF SUCH ELECTION AND FOR NOTIFICATION THERE-
OF AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described areas lying
contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, such annexation to be by
referendum vote of freeholders and electors in such area in accordance with
the provisions of the Charter of the City of Clearwater, Florida:
Woodmont Park Subdivision, according to the map or plat
thereof as recorded in Plt:t Book 43, page 63 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida; Woodmont Park Estates,
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
47, page 37 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida;
and Woodmont Park Estates First Addition, according to the map
or plttt thereof as recorded in Plat Book 53, page 1 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all other
streets, rights of way, all public easements contained therein
or contiguous or abutting thereto.

Section 2. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission intends to annex the foregoing land according to the provisions
of the Charter of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and to that end the City
has scheduled in the area a Referendum Election of freeholders and electors
upon such annexation in accordance with the said Charter, said Referendum
Election to be held on Tuesday, July 25, 1972, as a special election in said
area above described, all in accordance with said Charter of the City of

in the manner and at times required by the ordinances and charter of the City
of Clearwater and in accordance with State election laws pertaining thereto.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
