AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOT 5, DEL ORO GARDENS
SUBDIVISION, LOTS 10, 11 AND 14, CLEARWATER
MANOR SUBDIVISION, LOT 28 AND LOT 27, LESS
NORTH 20 FEET THEREOF, BLOCK C, SUNSET
POINT ES'T'ATES SUBDIVISION, LOT 1, CANTERBURY
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION, AND A PORTION OF GOVERN.
MENT LOT 2, SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP Z9 SOUTH, RANGE
16 EAST, AND LOT 9, DOWNING SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STR14ETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID

AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE
AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE
ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received received a sworn petition from Gerald L. Funk and Marie Ann Funk, his
wife, and from Harold Bernier and Beverly I. Bernier, his wife, requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by
them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said request
for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 1, 1971, voted unanimously
to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public
hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning and fire
district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel of
real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 6, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the determination
and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications for said real
property, which hearing was continued until January 17, 1972, and thereupon
completed; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Loren M. Pollack and Reina C. Pollack, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described,
owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida;

Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and establishes
zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lot 5, Del Oro Gardens, according to the map or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 45, page 74 of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned I'R-1D"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z.
AND
Lots 10, 11 and 14 of Clearwater Manor, according to the map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 41, page 66 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with
all abutting streets.
The Above described property is hereby zoned 11R..1D"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 28, together with Lot 27 Less the North 20 feet thereof,
Block C, Sunset Point Estates, according to the map or plat
thereof as recorded in Plat Book 39, page 67 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting
streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "B"
(Business) and designated as Fire District No. 1.

The above described property is hereby zoned "R-21'
(Duplex) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
Section'2. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore
been made by plat, deed or user within the area so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and
other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida.,
received received a sworn petition from Gerald L. Funk and Marie Ann Funk, his
wife, and from Harold Bernier and Beverly I. Bernier, his wife, requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by
them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said request
for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 1, 1971, voted unanimously
to accept said -request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public
hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning and fire
district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel of
real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
