AN ORDINANCE. OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOTS 10 AND 11, BLOCK A.
STEVE:NSONtS HEIGHTS, A PORTION OF SECTION 4,
TOWNS141P 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, AND LOT 7,
BLOCK A, PINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION, PINE LLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA. TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF -THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER
PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON,
ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS. the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Henry R. Cox and Osie T. Cox, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,

Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Thomas H. Barnes and Joyce C. Barnes,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Flaquad, Inc. requesting the City to annex a
certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it, into the
corporate limits, of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Montgomery Shanks and Emma Shanks,
his wife, requesting the City -to annex a certain' parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and

requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 16, 1971, voted

WHEREAS, on September 20, 1971, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, $E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots10 and 11, Block A, Stevenson's Heights, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 34,
page 13, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-11)"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
