AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOT 2, CANTERBURY HEIGHTS
SUBDIVISION, LOTS 19, 20 AND 2I, BLOCK A, SUNSET
POINT ESTATES, A PORTION OF SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP
29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST AND A PORTION OF SECTION
1, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL A13UTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER& FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER
PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON,
ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Henry C. Steffens and Ann L. Steffens, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from A. M. Touchette and Mary A. Touchette,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on July 7, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and'
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1971, the City Commission of the'City of

1971, and thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from the Marine Corps League requesting the City
to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on July 19, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Montclair Lake Estates, Inc, requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 2, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on September 7, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;

NOW's THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY"
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lot 2, .Canterbury Heights, according to the map or plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 49, page 16 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned 11R-1C1'
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lots 19, 20 and 21, Block A, Sunset Point Estates as
recorded in Plat Book 39, page 67 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, and that portion of Sunset Point
Road (,S.R. 5-5881, (previously platted Barrett Road), lying
between the Southerly extension of the Westerly side of Lot
19, Block A of said Sunset Point Estates and the Northerly
extension of the Westerly side of College Hill Park Subdivision
as recorded in Plat Book 66, page 44 of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "B"
(Business) and designated as Fire District No. 1.
AND
The West 103. 00 feet of Southeast 1/4 of Southeast 1/4 of
Section Z, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, less T. &G. C.
Railroad right of way, and less portion platted as 7th Addition
to Highland Pines, and less portion platted as Sunset Lake
Manor, together with all abutting streets.
The,above described property is hereby zoned 11R-3A"
(Multi-Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.

thereof described as follows: From the NE corner of the SW
1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 1, Township 29 South, Range 15
East, run S 0° 512211 E along the 40 acre line 33 feet to the
South right of way line of County Road No. 32; thence run
N 86. 12113411 W along said right of way line 52.58 feet; thence
run S 86° 2215311 W continuing on said right of way line 148. 01
feet for a P. O. B. ; thence S 0° 512211 E 200 feet; thence
S 86° 2215311 W 140. 27 feet; thence N 00 512211 W 200 feet to the
South right of way line of said County Road No. 32; thence
N 860 2215311 E 140. 27 feet to the P. O. B. ; together with all
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned 11PUD-R11
(Planned Unit Development--Residential) and designated as Fire
District No. 2.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director
are directed to include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and
other official snaps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Henry C. Steffens and Ann L. Steffens, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of. real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from A. M. Touchette and Mary A. Touchette,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on July 7, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ,
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATZR, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,.

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County,0 Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lot 2, Canterbury Heights, according; to the map or plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 49, page 16 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with all
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R- lC"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lots 19, 20 and 21, Block A, Sunset Point Estates as
recorded in Plat Book 39, page 67 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, and that portion of Sunset Point
Road (S.R. S-588), (previously platted Barrett Road), lying
between the Southerly extension of the Westerly side of Lot
19, Block A of said Sunset Point Estates and the Northerly
extension of the Westerly side,of College Hill Park Subdivision
