ORDINANCE NO. 1337
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOTS TWO THROUGH FIVE,
DOUGLAS MANOR FIRST ADDITION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE
CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE
AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE
ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND THE FIRE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Al Rogero Builder, Inc. requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by
it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 7, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on July 7, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property, which public hearing was continued until July 19, 1971,
and thereupon completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a

proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcel of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:

Section 2. The City Commmission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications
therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing. the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the,authvrity e,nd under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater. Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following {
described parcel of real property in Pinellas County. Florida. and '
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:: i
Lots 20, 4 and 5, Douglas Manor First Addition and adjoining
road right of way as platted in Plat Book 44, page. 18, of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida] and that portion
.,of right of way of. Nursery Road (C. R. 115 from the Southerly
extension of the East right of way line of Duncan, Avenue to the
Southerly extension of the East .right of way line .of Morrow Drive
'. and Morrow Drive from the North right of way line of Nursery
Road to the Westerly extension of the South property line of
Lot 2# said Douglas Manor First Addition.
The above described property in hereby zoned 11R-1C"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z. .
Section 2.? 'The.City Cornmisaibn.hereby formally and according
to law.accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas.
places, rishts of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed,,
':Sect_i_on_1. , The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set.out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official snaps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the coning and fire district classifications

upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
