McMullen, Sr. , et al. , requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of
real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 5, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Ray E. Lee and Ruby E. Lee, his wife,

WHEREAS, on June 21, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcel of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and
establishes zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Government Lot Z in Section 16, Township 29 South,
Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida; LESS the
North 800 feet thereof; and LESS the South 100 feet of
the West 483 feet of the North 900 feet thereof; and
LESS the South 205 feet of the East 930 feet thereof;
and LESS the triangle East of Bayshore Boulevard; and
LESS the East 360 feet of the South 140 feet of the North
1090 feet thereof; and LESS the South ZZI feet and LESS
the East 930 feet of said South 221 feet; and LESS that
portion presently within the City limits.

16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, together with all
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "B"
(Business) and designated as Fire District No. 1.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fare district classifications

Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLI~ARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC
NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING
THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE
FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Brenton C. Hultgren, Agent for Early J.•-
McMullen, Sr. , et al. , requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of
real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 5, 1971, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set .
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning

and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of
Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on May 3, 1971, the City Cornmission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property; and
WHERIrAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Ray E. Lee and Ruby E. Lee, his wife,
