AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 9,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, LOT 4.
BLOCK 19, THIRD ADDITION TO HIGHLAND PINES

FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF

FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, received a sworn petition from Mebrell Corporation request-
ing the City to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter des-
cribed, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, after due consideration of said request for annexation, at a
regular meeting held on December 14, 1970, voted unanimously to
accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a pub-
lic hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clear-
water in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 {d} of the Municipal
Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1971, the City Commission of the

the determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classi-
fications for said real property; and

requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 15, 1971,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper
officials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and t
establishment of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare
an ordinance to annex said parcels of real estate into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of
Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater and the
Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1971, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6
(d) of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws
of Florida, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clear-
water, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning

Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, LOT 4,
BLOCK 19, THIRD ADDITION TO HIGHLAND PINES
SUBDIVISION AND LOT 20, BLOCK F, SUNNY PARK
GROVES SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS,
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
i Florida, received a sworn petition from Mebrell Corporation request-
ing the City to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter des-
cribed, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, after due consideration of said request for annexation, at a
regular meeting held on December 14, 1970, voted unanimously to
accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a pub-
lic hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clear-
water in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal
Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1971'. the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for
the determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classi-
fications for said real property; and

his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of
the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Bobby L. Hylton and Birchell Hylton,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 15, 1971,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper
officials to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and
establishment of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare
an ordinance to annex said parcels of real estate into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of
Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater and the
Laws of Florida; and
, WHEREAS, on April 19, 1971, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the 'City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6

Section 3, The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out hnd dhow upon the official
toning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications
therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and-a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
