WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from imperial Homes Corporation requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, awned
by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a, regular meeting held on September 21, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to setup a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on October 19, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
`Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property, which said hearing was continued until November 2,
1970, and thereupon completed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received w. sworn petition from Martin White and Elizabeth White, his wife,

determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described-parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
The NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29 South,
Range East; together with
The East 940 feet of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 8,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, EXCEPT that part of said
East 940 feet of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section lying
Southerly and Easterly of the right of way line of the T & GC
Railroad; together with
Thv. NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 8, Township 29 South,
Range 16 East, EXCEPT that part of said NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4
of said-Section lying Southerly of the Southerly right of way of
the T & GC Railroad.
