ORDINANCE NO. 1307,
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOT 2, NOB HILL SUBDIVISION,
A PORTION OF SECTION 17, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, AND PORTIONS OF SECTION 11,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THEPROVISIONS
OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER
PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from George G. Corp and Doris E. Corp, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described,
owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on October 5, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d), of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on November 16, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property, which public hearing was continued until January 18,
1971, and thereupon completed.; and

described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS$ the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 2, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section b (d)• of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 4, 1971, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Charles H. Cribbs and Nellie B. Ownbey,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described,
owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 2, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (dj of the Municipal Charter

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a

Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the area so annexed.
Section 3, The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
