FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from D. A. Salls and Charles L. Duff requesting
the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned
by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 3; 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d), of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property, which hearing was subsequently continued until
January 4, 1971, and thereupon completed; and

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 2, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment-of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 3, 1970, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from J-W Corp. of Clearwater requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 16, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d)' of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and, redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Begin at the Southwest corner of Section 4, Township
Z9 South, Range 16 East and run thence S 890 1014111
E, 478. 0 feet along the Southerly line of said Section 4;
thence run N 0° 411451' W, 338. 0 feet; thence run
S 89° 11;15" E, 20.0 feet; thence run N 0° 41'45°1 W,
272. 18 feet; thence run N 76. 40135" W, 491.66 feet;
thence run S 00 24158" W, 136. 37 feet; thence run
N 89° 351021' W, 530. 0 feet; thence run S 0. 2415811 W,
580. 0 feet to the Southerly line of Section 5, Township
29 South, Range 16 East; thence run S 89° 35102' E along
the Southerly line of said Section 5, 523. 08 feet to the
Point of Beginning, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-Z"
(Duplex) and designated as Fire District No. 2.

Lots 2 and 3 of Ehle Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book

and that part of County Road 50 right of way lying South and

WH REAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Flori da,
received a sworn petition from D. A. Salls and Charles L. Duff requesting
the. City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned
by them,into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission; after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 3, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1970,• the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and' fire district classifications
for said real property, which hearing was subsequently continued until
January 4, 1971, and thereupon compluted; and
