WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of.Clearwater, Florida,
• received a sworn petition from Playcare, Inc. requesting the City to annex a
certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, 'owned by it, into the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 17, 1970,
voted tuianimously to accept said request and authorised the proper' officials
Jo set up a pu''lic hearing thereon for tho determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter

of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property, which public hearing was continued until October 5'.

Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollmeint in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida..
