AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOT 27, BLOCK A, ZEPIIYR
GARDENS SUBDIVISION, LOT 16, BLOCK F, SUNNY

ORDINANCE.

WHEREAS.. the City Commission of the' City of Clearwater, Florida, '
received a. sworn petition from Everett F. Irwin and Esther E. Irwin, his.
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter +r
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Charles R.- McGuire and Virginia H.
McGuire, his wife, requesting the City-to annex a certain parcel of real
estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petitio:: `-'c.n Peter•P. Panarites requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by him,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, a:t a. regular meeting hold on August 3, 1970,
voted wzanimously io accept said requests and.authroized the proper officials

to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of ilia City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section G (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and-tlie Laws of Florida; and.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Arthur P. Edmondson and Enice Edmondson,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS,' the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 17, 1970, voted
unani.inously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the deteriination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and io prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits'of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section G.(d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on September 21, 1970, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
.:public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and thrgugh its City

Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section b (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
