BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sub-Paragraph (c), Service Outside of the Municipal
Limits, of Section 17-8, Schedule of service rates, of Chapter 17, pertaining
to sewers, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
1962, is hereby amended to read as follows:
(c) Service outside of the municipal limits :
Accounts outside of the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater shall be subject to a surcharge equal to
fifty per cent (SO%), of the monthly sewer bill charges
as set forth in sub-paragraphs (a) and (h) above.
Section 2. Sub-paragraph ; (d), Service out of municipal limits, of
Section Z4-28, Rate Schedule, of Chapter 24, pertaining to utility system of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby
amended to read as follows:

W)Service out of municipal limits;
Accounts outside of the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater shall be subject to a surcharge equal to
fifty per cent (5016) of the monthly'water bill charges
as set forth in sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) above.
All connections to City mains and meter and installation
to be charged to property owner, application fees to be
the same as set forth in Section 24-20 of this Chapter.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 4. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 5. Any person or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon
conviction in the Municipal Court, be fined not exceeding the sum of Five
Hundred Dollars ($500.00), or imprisoned in the City Jail for not exceeding
sixty (60) days, or by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of
the Municipal Judge.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall become effective on October 1,
1970.
