AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING PORTIONS OF SECTION 17,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY
TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE '

FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Clearwater Development Corporation
requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
. WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request.for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 1, 1970, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater.
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
„ proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its f', N ??t r.t
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning—
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing properly and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER,.
FLORIDA, ANNEXING PORTIONS OF SECTION 17,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANCrE 16 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATE'R, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING TI•IC BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY
TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE
PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF,
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA;
AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTIES; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the' City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Clearwater Development Corporation
requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on June 1, 1970, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits bf the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1970, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after'proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
