STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITIONS, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER
PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTIES;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Elizabeth Cantrell requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by her, into the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Edward L. Coxe and Edna M. Coxe, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Joseph F. Grady and Edna C. Grady, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Auldon A. Bagwell and Josephine M. Bagwell,
Ord. #126§.

also received a sworn petition from Christ D. Sernmons and Nancy H.
Sernmons, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real
estate hereinafter described, owned by there, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Charles C. Hair and Kathleen B. Hair,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on March 16, 1970,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and

hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater., Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real, property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots 1, 3 and 4, Block 7 and Lots 6, 7, 8 and 9,
Block 8, Highland Pines First Addition, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
30, page 100 of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-1D"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z.
AND

Lot 10, Block D, Salls Subdivision, according to
the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 28,
page 38, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-1D"
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z.

A part of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12, Pinellas Groves Sub-
division of the NW 114 of Section 12, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East, as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 15 of
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, further
described as follows: Start at the NW corner of Section 12,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East and go S 00° 25121" W,
972. 12 feet along the West section line to the P. 0. B. ; thence

Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all casements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have' here-
. tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.

Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon' the official
zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Edward L. Coxe and Edna M. Coxe, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,

to law accepts the dedication of all casements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, dead or user within tho areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk acid the Planning
Director are directed to include and net out and show upon the official
zoning map and othar official maps.and records of the City of Clearwator
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance 11306%
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of
the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.
