AN ORDINANCE OF THE- CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING LOTS 10, 11 AND 12 IN BLOCK At
HARBOR VISTA SUBDIVISION, AND LOT 25, DEL ORO
GARDENS SUBDIVISION, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA,
TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES
OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDXTIONS, ACCORDING
TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF
FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND
PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE
ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE
FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTIES;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Raymond V. Duffer and Victoria Duffy, his
wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from James S. Blalock and-Petty Jackson
Blalock, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate

hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City
of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on December 15, 1969,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of'Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1970, the City Commission of the.City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, hold a public hearing for the

determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE t BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
law. Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a
proper public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section b (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
' described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
in Block A,
Lots 10, 11 and 12/of Harbor Vista Subdivision
as recorded in Plat Book 18, page 41 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned
"R-3LD" (Multi-Family Low Density) and
designated as Fire District No. 2.
AND
Lot 25, Del Oro Gardens Subdivision, as
recorded in Plat Book 45, page 74 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned
"R-]D" (Single Family) and designated as Fire
District No. Z.
Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according
to law accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas,
places, rights of way and other dedications to the public which have here-
tofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official
, zoning map and other official maps and records of the City of Clearwater
the foregoing property and the zoning and fire district classificati-
therefor.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, o,?' } },
received a sworn petition from Raymond V. Duffy and*Victoria Duffy, his n '• y"

wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter

described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, 11
Florida; and rt '

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from James S. Blalock and Betty Jackson
Blalock, his wife, requesting the City to-annex a certain parcel of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City
of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on December 15, 1969,
voted unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
.zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex 3`4F3'yi:$+=3z?';?s'
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1970, the City Commission of the City '.
of Clearwater, after proper public notize, held a public hearing for the
