WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition frain E. J. Leadenham and Betty E. Leadenham,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Evelyn Dusty requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by her, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Imperial Homes Corporation of Greenbriar
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described,
owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also recelved a sworn petition from John F. Leiher and Naomi K, Leiher,
his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Glearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Merlin A. Cochran and Bazbara R.
Cochran, his wife, requesting the City to annex a Certain parcel of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City
of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
zequesta for annexation, at a regular meeting held on M1y 5, 1969, voted
unanimously to accept said requeata and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon fox the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate liixrits of the City of Gleawater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the Gity of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on June 23, 19b9, the Gity Commission of the City of
Clearwatez, after prapex publir. notice, held a public: hearing for the

wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 17, 1969, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal
Charter of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1969, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR WATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said (amity of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following

said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 {d} .of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
' WHEREAS, on July 21, 1969, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination anti, establishment of zoning and fire district classification
• fox said real property, and said hearing was continued until December 15,
1969, and thereupon completed; and
W14EREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Andrew A, Lynn and Wilson N. Rogers
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida; and '
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition froin Henry E. Smoak, Sr. and Elizabeth B.
Smoak, his wife, requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by thLm, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
