EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Theodore R. Sargent and Grace E. _ "?' ' `• `';
Sargent requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein- ±j
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Charles R. Anderson and Celestine A.
Anderson requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of said requests for annexation
the City Commission at a regular meeting held on Sune 17, 1968, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City.
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
That portion of Lot 6 and Lot 5 less the East 116 feet
thereof of William Brown's Subdivision of Bayview,
according to map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 1, page 13, of the Public Records of Hillsborough
County, Florida, of which Pinellas County was formerly
a part, which is not presently within the municipal
limits of the City of Clearwater, together with all
abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-M"
(Multiple Dwelling and Limited Business) and designated
as Fire District No. 1.
AND
Lots 13, 14 and 15, less the East 70 feet of Lot 15,
plus the submerged land consisting of 5 acres, more
or less, William Brown's Subdivision of Bayview,
according to map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat
Book 1, page 13 of the Public Records of Hillsborough
County, Florida, of which Pinellas County was formerly
a part, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-M"
(Multiple Dwelling and Limited Business) and designated
as Fire District No. 1.

FOR SAID- PROPERTIES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE -
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Theodore R. Sargent and Grace E.
Sargent requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Charles R. Anderson and Celestine A.
Anderson requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate herein-
after described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater; and
WHEREAS. after due consideration of said requests for annexation
the City Commission at a regular meeting held on June 17, 1968, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to eet
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
