ORDINANCE NO. 1187
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING PORTIONS OF SECTION Z, `
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY. FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF.CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID
ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE
...... _,._, _ CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA;. AFTER PROPER PUBLIC'
NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING THEREON, ESTABLISHING
THE ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND THE
FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR SAID PROPERTY;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Robert A. Barr requesting the City to annex
a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by him, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on November 18, 1468,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER$ FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefore:
Start at the SW corner of the SE-1/4 of the NE-1/4 of
Section 2, Township 29 South, Range 15 East for a P. O. B.
and following a part of the City of Clearwater City Limit
Line, go N 0000010211 W, 1153. 20 feet along the 40 acre
line; thence continuing along said City Limit Line, go
S 8902212111 E, 130. 00 feet; thence leaving said City Limit
Line go S 0000010211 E, 356. 93 feet; thence go S 6203010011 E,
317. 25 feet; thence go S 8902914211 E, 180. 00 feet; thence go
S 00007105t1 E, 283. 00 feet; thence go S 22007100f1 W, 240. 90
feet; thence go S 0003011811 W, 145. 00 feet to a point on the
40 acre line (centerline of Sunset Point Road); thence go
N 8902942" W, 500. 00 feet along the aforementioned 40 acre
line to the P. O. B.; containing 10. 28 acres, more or less,
together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned 'R- 1C 11 '
(Single Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2•

Section 2. The City Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to
include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other official
maps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the zoning and
fire district classifications therefor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the.Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

ORDINANCE. .
' WHEREAS, the City Commission of the -City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn•petition from Robert A. Barr requesting the City to annex
• a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by hir n, into
i. the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,, and '
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for a•'nnexation, at a regular meeting held on Novembe'r 18, 1968,
voted, unanimously to accept- said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a'public hearing thereon fax the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of G?earwater and the Laws of Florida; and
?r WHEREAS, on December 16, 1968, the City Commission of the City
' of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the

determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
