ORDINANCE.
A
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Metz & White, Inc., a Florida corporation,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on September 23, 1968,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public-hearing thereon for the determination and establishment
of zoning and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on October 21, 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said teal property;

NOW, THEREFORE-, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
' COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section I. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a propex
public hearing, the City,bf Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under' the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following

tescribed parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor;
Parcel A.
The West 250 feet, more or less, of Lot 9, Pinellas
'..Groves in Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 29
.South, Range 16 East, less the South 233 feet thereof.
The above described property is hereby zoned "B"
(Business) and designated as Fire District No. 1.
AND
Parcel B.
Lots 9 and 10, less the West 250 feet,. more or less of
Lot 9, all in Pinellas Groves in Southwest 1/4 of Section
19, Township 29 South, Range '16 East, together with
all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-411
(Multiple Dwelling) and designated as Fire District No. 2,
'Section 2. The City Engineer and,the City Clerk are directed to
include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other official
maps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the zoning and
fire district classifications therefor. ,
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
