ZONING USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND THE
FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION FOR SAID PROPERTIES;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from D A S, Inc. , a Florida corporation,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Paul J. Chipello, Clarence Coltman,
Albert P. Rogers, Inc. and George E. Wagner, requesting the City to annex
certain parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a request to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter
described, owned by the City of Clearwater, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater; and

WHEREAS, after due consideration of said requests for annexation
the City Commission' at a regular meeting held on September Z3, 1968, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to sot
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in
accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of
the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on October 21, 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and, through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
Lots 6, 8, 16 less the South 10 feet, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,
22, 23, and 24 of Block A; Lots 1, 3 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of Block B; Lots 1,
3, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 14 of Block C; Lots 2, 9, 13, 16, 17, 18
and 20 of Block D; and the rights of way of St. Croix Drive,
St. John Drive and St. Anthony Drive, all being in Virginia
Groves Terrace, 5th Addition as recorded in Plat Book 51,
Pages 43 and 44, of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida;
AND
That parcel of land in the SE»1%4 of Section 5, Township 29
South, Range 16 East; start at the SE corner of Section 5,
