ORDINANCE NO. 1167
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER.,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSI-
FICATION FOR CERTAIN DESCRIBED TRACTS LOCATED
IN AND A PART OF ISLAND ESTATES OF CLEARWATER,
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, AFTER PROPER PUBLIC
NOTICE ANDPUBLIC HEARING THEREON BY THE
PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND BY THE CITY
COMMISSION AND ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF
THE CHARTER AND CODE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; DIRECTING:
THE CITY ENGINEER AND THE CITY CLERK TO INCLUDE
AND SET OUT UPON THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND
OTHER OFFICIAL MAPS AND RECORDS OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER THE ZONING AND FIRE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS ESTABLISHED; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received from North Bay Company a request that the City establish the
zoning and fire district classifications on certain parcels of real property
owned by it, hereinafter described, which have not been previously zoned;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board, after due consideration,
prepared its Preliminary Report and, after proper public notice, held a
public hearing on said Preliminary Report and, after proper public notice, held a
public hearing on said Preliminary Report on September 24, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater has now
received the Planning and Zoning Board's final report and recommendations
as to the zoning and fire district classifications for said real property; and
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1968, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
establishment of the zoning and fire district classifications for said described
real property;
Section 1. After the City Commission having reviewed and evaluated
the Planning and Zoning Board's final report and recommendations and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
having evaluated all evidence presented at the public hearing before it
and other matters, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City

Charter and Code of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby determines and establishes the following zoning and fire district
classifications on the described real property:

Island Estates of Clearwater (as per Plat Book 51, page
34, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida) for a

to the northeasterly corner of Lot 12, Block D of said Plat-,
run thence northeasterly along a curve to the left of
70, 00 feet radius (chord bearing N 63°0611911 E, (chord

thence N 81°5I11811 E, 285 feet; run thence southeasterly
along a curve to the right (being the westerly right of way
