AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, <'rY.
FLORIDA, ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 24,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from C. F. Curtis Pools, Inc. and Charles F.
Curtis II requesting the City to annex certain parcels of real estate
hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of said request for annexation
the City Commission at a regular meeting held on July 1, 1968, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set
up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for all of said real property, which public hearing was continued until
September 9, 1968, and thereupon completed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1, After its evaluation, of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and tinder the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor;
Begin at the SE corner of the SE-1/4 of Section 24,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East and run thence N 00
01141"' W, along the Section line, 914. 60 feet; thence
N 8900711V W, 50. 0 feet for P. O. B. ; thence N 0001141"
W, along the Westerly line of Belcher Road and parallel
to the Section line, 190. 0 feet; thence N 89007 11 P W.
621, 58 feet; thence S 0003133' W, along the 10 acre line,
190. O 'feet; thence S 89007112" E, 621. 88 feet to P. O, B. ,
together with all abutting streets.
AND
Begin at the SE corner of the SE-1/4 of Section 24,
Township 29 South, Range 15 East and run thence
N 00011411' W, along the Section line, 914. 60 feet;
thence N 8900711211 W, 50. 0 feet for P. O. B. ; thence
continue N 8900711Z" W, 621. 88 feet; thence S 0003133" W.
along the 10 acre line, 270, 86 feet; thence S 7003615Z" E,
564.41 feet; thence S 88033' 19" E, 90. 0 feet; thence
N 0001141" W, along the Westerly line of Belcher Road
and parallel to the Section line, 451. 0 feet more or less
to P. O. B. , together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned "R-4+1
(Multiple Family) and designated as Fire District No. Z.
Section 2. The City Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to
include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other official
maps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the zoning and
fire district classifications therefor.

Section 3, This Ordinrance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordnance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. '
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida.
received a sworn petition from C. F. Curtis Pools. Inc. and Charles F.
Curtis II requesting the City to annex (certain parcels of real estate
bereinafteir ddscrlbed, owned by them, into the corporate limits' 'of the
City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of said request for annexation
the City Commission at a regular meeting held on July 1, 1968, voted
ism nirnously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set

up a. public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of zoning
and fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said
parcels of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on August S. 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public bearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for all of said real property, which public hearing was continued until
September 9, 1968, and thereupon completed;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDAt
6action 1. After tts evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under thei provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida.
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
