WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has determined that an easement 4`=1
is required for the storm drainage system in Skycrest within the City limits ....{
of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Commission has been unable to acquire said
storm drainage easement; and
WHEREAS, the City's only means of completing said project is
by acquisition of said easement for said necessary storm drainage purposes,
by means of condemnation proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER. FLORIDA:
1. That the appropriate officials of the City of Clearwater are
hereby instructed and directed to obtain all necessary surveys and execute
all necessary instruments, documents, checks for payment of money,'''
bonds, pleadings and other papers which are incidental and necessary to the

Unit I'D'S, according to the snap or plat thereof as recorded
in Plat Book 28, page 52 of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida.
2. The City Attorney is hereby instructed to institute condemnation
proceedings in the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of the State of
Florida for the purpose of acquiring said easement at the earliest possible
moment for storm drainage purposes.
3. Any and all irregularities in procedure, description or other
matters which may have occured to date of this Ordinance are hereby
corrected, ratified and confirmed.
4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
