WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from William G. Blackburn and Myldred L.
Blackburn, his wife, and Wallace W. Blackburn requesting the City to annex
certain parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from Richard W. Towers requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by him,

WHEREAS, after due consideration of said requests for annexation

in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal, Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on April 1, 1968, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classifications
for said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clear 7vater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to
establish zoning and fire district classifications therefor:
From the NE corner of the SE-1/4 of the NE-,1/4 of Section
19, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, run N 8901311211 W
along a 40 acre line, 100. 00 feet; run thence S 0005212511 W
along the westerly right of way line of U.S. Highway 19 (State
Road 551, 330. 00 feet for a Point of Beginning (Said P. O. B.
being the SE corner of that certain property deeded to Thayer
Motor Co., Inc. by deed recorded in O. R. Book 237 1, page
258, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida); thence
continue S 00°5212511 W. 400. 97 feet to a point which is 610. 00
feet northerly of the E-W center line of said Section 19; run
thence N 8902911311 W, parallel to the E-W center line of said
Section 19, 1006. 47 feet to a point on the easterly right of way
