AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING PORTIONS OF SECTION 17,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS
i COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING
THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE
SAID ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER
PROPER PUBLIC NOTICE AND PUBLIC HEARING
THEREON, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFI-
CATION FOR SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR
THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Dillard Lee Hudson and Winnie May Hudson,
his wife, and James Dillard Hudson requesting the City to annex certain
parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of said request for annexation
the City Commission at a regular meeting held on November 6, 1967, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1967, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classification for
said real property;

Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d) of
the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater and the Laws of Florida,
hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following
described parcels of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and to establish
zoning and fire district classification therefor:
The South 365. 0 feet of the North 990. 0 feet of the
East 100.0 feet of the West 830.0 feet of the SW-I/4
of the NE-1/4 of Section 17, Township 29 South, Range
16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, together with all
abutting streets.
The North 100. 0 feet of the South 465. 0 feet of the
North 990. 0 feet of the East 100. 0 feet of the West
830.0 feet of the SW-1/4 of the NE-1/4 of Section 17,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County,
Florida, together with all abutting streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned R'-2
(Duplex) and designated as Fire District No, 2
Section 2. The City Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to
include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other official
rnaps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the zoning and
fire district classification therefor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

l WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida;
received a sworn petition from Dillard Lee Hudsoll and Winnie May Hudson,
'his wife, and James Dillard Hudson requesting the City to annex certain
parcels of real estate hereinafter described, owned by them, into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after-due consideration of said request for annexation
the. City Commission at a regular meeting held on November 6, .1967, voted
una'imously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishment of
zoning and fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex
said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater
in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 (d) of the Municipal Charter
of the City of Clearwater and the laws of Florida; and
WHEREAS, on December 4, 1967, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater; after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of zoning and fire district classification J;pr
