received a sworn petition from Stuart S. Golding, Inc. requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by it,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration of said request for annexation
the City Commission at a meeting held on November 3, 1966, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel of real estate into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, in accordance with the provisions of Section
6 (d) of the Municipal Charter of the City of Clearwater;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 6 (d)
of the Municipal Charter of said City of Clearwater, hereby annexes into
the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the
boundary lines of said City so as to include the following described parcel
of real property in Pinellas County, Florida:
A tract of land in the North 1/2 of the SW-1/4 of the SW-1/4
of the NW-1/4 of Section 5, Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
Pinellas County, Florida, being described as' follows: For a
point of reference commence at the SW corner of the NW-1/4
of Section 5; run thence with the West boundary of Section 5,
N 100191711 E 359. 51 feet; thence S. 89038'38'1 E 111.47 feet
to a point, • said point being the intersection of the Easterly

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 6 (d) OF THE MUNICIPAL CHARTER OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE ZONING
USE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION AND THE FIRE DISTRICT

right of way of County Road No. 50 and the point of beginning
marked with a concrete monument. From point of beginning
proceed Northerly along said Easterly right of way of U.S.'

The above described property is hereby zoned 11SC11 (Shopping
Center, Type A) and designated as Fire District No. 1, except
that the East 150 feet of the above described property is hereby
zoned "B" (Business) and designated as Fire District No. 1.
Section Z. The City Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to
include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other official
maps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book
and a certified copy thereof being recorded in the Office of the Cleric of the
Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Stuart S. Golding# Inc. requesting the City
to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned by-it$ '
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS,. after due consideration of said request for annexation
the City Commission at a meeting bold on November 3, 1966. voted
unanimously to accept-said request and authorized the proper officials to
p:tepar• an ordinance to annex said parcel of 'real estate into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, in accordance With the provisions of Sectiaa.:
